Scrapbook U invites you to experience one or more of our wonderful classes. Please sign up early to reserve your spot.
Basic Tool Kit
Each student should have all of these tools at each class, plus any other tools specified by the teacher.
- 12" paper trimmer
- Small detail scissors
- Pencil, ruler, eraser, notepad
- Bone folder
- Paper Piercer
- Eyelet Tools
- Assorted adhesives: glue stick, glue dots, 2-way adhesive, double sided tape, wet adhesive (like Diamond Glaze) &/or tape runners

You’ll create your own 8.5” x 8.5” fabric covered album with 12 page
surfaces to hold your photos, plus a magnetic closure and additional
pockets and flaps throughout this classic black and white album – great
for any occasion!
Bring to Class:
- Stardust Stickles
- Liquid Glue (Beacons 3-in-1, fabri-tac or other fast drying
liquid glue)
- Black Soot Distress Ink pad
- Small 3D foam squares or pop dots
- Mini stapler, if you own one
- ˝” wide double-sided red tape
- Crop-a-dile or Big Bite Crop-a-dile

Create a mini album using LeRomantique papers from Graphic 45, that will be perfect for wedding, anniversary and special occasion photos. This 8x8 book has a canvas cover and includes lots of embellishments--bling, flowers, vintage buttons, seam binding, and ribbon, plus more. Make a fabric flower for the cover. Glimmer Mist and stamping add more detail.

We'll
make a chipboard book approximately 6 x 8.5 using jute and embossed fish and one-of-a-kind hand-drawn
embellishments!
Please bring: dark brown ink (cat's eye best), wet glue, dry glue,
scissors, pop dots.

Fun Surprise? One of the cards we'll be making is adorned by a trio of handmade fabric flowers that can be removed and used as a sweet fashion accent. Along with a few flowers we make from fabric and ribbon, we'll use some beautiful Prima flowers, Maya Road trinket pins and crepe ribbon to embellish our cards. Along with your class kit please bring a fast drying liquid glue, pop dots and red tape if you have these items.

Alter the newest tray from 7 Gypsies - this receipt holder can be changed seasonally since most of the items are actually
held in place by the metal clips. Use it to show your favorite photos,
ephemera or mini works of art. Choose from various papers from Graphic
45, Prima, Webster's Pages and others to create your own unique display. Add flowers, bling, Stickles, crepe paper, ribbon, buttons, seam binding, etc. There's even a little bottle of dream "dust."

As summer is winding down and the kids are getting ready to go back to school, let's make an adorable Disney inspired mini book to store all of your precious summer vacation memories. We will be using an adorable Maya Road mini shaped album and new papers from Moxie.
In addition to your class kit, please bring: a corner rounder, crop-a-dile or a 1/8" hole punch, glue dots, foam squares, stapler (I used the tiny attacher) and a black pen.

In this last part in the Altered Books Series we will explore the Cover. The Cover is a 3-D surface that can be used to set the subject and add mystery or magic to your book. It can be simple or elaborate. Come and explore ways to make your cover the item that prompts the viewer to pick up your book; open the cover and walk through a world of your creation.

In this class you will learn the basics of coloring with Copic Markers. We will talk about the paper, the inks, how to read color numbers , how to choose the colors. You will learn the basics of coloring, shading, blending and more!
